1. What's "femaleness"? And when did being a "humanoid" turn out bad?
I thought we were all human. I'm lost with this. These women and most people work hard and reach to destroy the President. I don't get it.

4. I'm starting to see the punditocracy as a parasite class. They make their living by
sucking the life out of anyone who's trying to do anything in the public arena.

Apparently now it's a PROBLEM if you stop and think before acting:

Snip from the article>

When asked about Parker's column in an appearance on"Good Morning America" Dowd told ABC's George Stephanopoulos that Obama is more of a "humanoid" than a woman. She agrees with Parker that the president has a tendency to wait and look before acting, but she says it is not really male or female trait, "it's a problem."

snip>

I see, what we want is someone who DOESN'T look before acting.

5. what a bunch of sexist, classist crap
So...women are incompetent by nature, and only people from rich families are confident and able to act in a crisis? What a steaming pile those 2 columnists are.

I'm not exactly clear why it's a bad thing to think before acting. I'd much rather that the president think and consider the consequences of his/her actions than jump in and "be confident" and do something stupid.

6. Women mocking Obama for "acting like a woman". A little
self hatred goes a long way.

9. only those born rich should be president
"Dowd said this characteristic may be a result of the way he was raised, because unlike Presidents George W. Bush and John F. Kennedy, Obama did not grow up with a "rich daddy" to provide him with the confidence to make bold decisions."

10. Easy now; social scientists have studied learned gender differences for years.

Do I detect a theme of "traditionally female characteristics" being viewed as negative here?

(this will be a hit and run for now; gotta go to work)

12. Wow, self-hating misogynists.
It's not like I haven't seen them before, but it's always kind of a shock nonetheless.
