Telling McChrystal to come in tomorrow = "wait til your father gets home" or "go get me a switch"
Some may think it odd that the President didn't fire McChrystal on the spot but instead is making him cool his heels for a couple of days before going to the White House to answer for his comments. But I think it's perfectly appropriate. Can you imagine how agonizing this wait must be?

1. I'd be a wreck. I wondered, IF it's accurate that McChrystal has tendered his
resignation, if he hoped to avoid the meeting by just agreeing to leave immediately.

3. Call him in tomorrow, then tell him to wait patiently until next Monday
and then maybe you'll find a few minutes for him.

5. you underestimate
Men like McChrystal don't squirm, I think he has already decided to resign. which is a major setback in terms of running a war, think of it like building a building from the ground up and mid swing halfway into it the general contractor and all the subs run away, so now your left trying to figure out whats what....not good at all.

6. And he has to face all the people he publicly dissed in the Sit room.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall.

7. If McChrystal had any honor
he would walk into the Oval Office with resignation paper in hand.

9. McChrystal ultimately saves face with this...
He can't be held responsible for this "failed war."

I'm beginning to wonder if he did this deliberately. He's a jerk... but is he really that stupid?
