Today DU seems a little less angry at Obama

2. I think most DUers support the president. I doubt many actually hate him.

Many are disappointed. Many have been critical. To pigeonhole them all as "haters" might make it easier for you to deal with, but it is incorrect, and adds nothing to the discussion.

Plus, it's a message board. A place to vent. I don't see the type of aggressive behavior, for and against this president, in real life as I do on this message board. Sometimes, some people take what is said here too personally, and too seriously.

I want President Obama to turn it around, to start supporting progressive causes, to be less concerned about bi-partisanship. I want him to come out and say he supports Senator Franken's amendment on mortgage rating agencies. Do something for the American people. I certainly don't hate Obama.

7. I say what I say because several posters told me that they outright dislike him.

That's why I say haters. I'm not saying what I'm saying to make myself feel better. Further more the background of one of those posters is ONLY negative posts against Obama. And then they say well they do dislike him and they're not shy about it. So that says to me the person is a hater...this goes beyond policy to sheer dislike. It's a bit sad my post was deleted--since I figured my post said anything insulting. I'm stating my claim because of what posters told me.
