And the White, Independent, Male Ohioans say......
Tonight, the DNC released a read out of a focus group made up of white, male, independent Ohioans. Marc Ambinder tells me this is a BAD thing that they released it (apparently it means the DNC knows the reaction to the speech was not good.) Either way, here it 'tis.....

(apologies for the poor image quality, I tried to blow them up a bit bigger)

14. If that was the case, he would have been harder on BP, and...
far more concrete about what he will do to end our dependence on oil.

3. Not surprised in the least at the reactions of this group.
Media pundits have no idea how non political people react to this stuff.

"Calm, steady, crystallizing an idea that we must act on energy reform legislation", sounds good to me.

7.  I like that quote.. It was way too small for me to read..
thanks for that.

"Calm, steady, crystallizing an idea that we must act on energy reform legislation", sounds good to me.

Thanks Clio, too~

4. "White, Independent, Male Ohioans say"
so many ways to finish this quote. None of them at all appropriate or helpful.

11. I'd love to see the same thing
with a focus group here in the states around the gulf. I bet the numbers would not be the same for sure.

6. But Mike Malloy and Rachel Maddow said that "white, independent, male ohioans"..
must be idiots. And as we all know, Rachel Maddow & Mike Malloy are the keepers of the flame, and the final word on any topic A-Z. :-)

9. If it worked on the disengaged class then thank God. Nothing wrong with that
That won't change that actual policy is needed and not a lot of nothing to avoid disturbing Joe Six-pack or the illustrious "stakeholders".

10. Cautiously optimistic
But the devil is always in the details.

E.g., people overwhelmingly favor "health care reform." But they oppose any specific reform proposals.

Remember the Onion headline? "99% of People Agree: Everyone Else Should be Using Mass Transit"

Sure, if they watch KO and surf DU, the reaction was horrible.

15. I'm glad I don't watch Olbermann, Maddow or listen to Malloy
Not listening to those popular pundits really is helpful because -thinking for myself- I know the President's speech last night was as reassuring as it was uplifting. :-)

13. do you know why there are so few posts in this thread? Haters scatter when a light like this shines
They prefer their "Who should we Primary Obama with?" threads.
