This is the first time I have done this to a Democratic organization.
I recently received a mailing from Bill Clinton Democratic Headquarters. The DSCC. After Clinton's statement against unions at Lincoln's rally and the result of yesterday's election result I pulled out that mailing and opened it out. Then wrote my message why I was not supporting them because of Clinton's anti-union stance. It will be returned to them.

1. What did Clinton say?
I haven't seen the quote yet.

Regardless, yes, an ex-President would tend to be seen as a leader in his Party and help the Party to keep the majority which is the job of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee. Why belong to a political party if they're just going to dump you whenever there's a tiff?

2. Don't blame ya - last time they called me I told them I'm only supporting...
...progressive candidates directly and they wouldn't be getting a dime or any time from me

6. Maybe if enough of us do it, they'll start to wake up...

Although I'm not sure progressives and DLC/New Dems actually have the same agenda or principles, so they might not care.

4. this is Arkansas
Few belong to unions and it has a right to work in its Constitution. Why pick this state for the union battle?

5. Have to fight 'em there, so we don't have to fight 'em here!
If you wait to fight the anti-union folks in a heavily union area, you've already lost.

7. I angrily and refused to contribute " so much as a nickel" in response to a fund raising call
I received recently from the DSCC and very specifically explained how sick I was of the corporate sellouts they support.

I wrote that Bill should STFU and go back to screwing his many mistresses rather than the country!

I also wrote on the DSCC solicitation and told the 'private name, private caller' who turned out to be from the DNC where they all could stick their surveys, mailings and phone calls. I let them know that the corporate whores in DC with D's beside their names no longer represent me, that pigs would fly before I would donate a damn dime or a second of time and that Obama embodied neither hope or change!

edited for typos

10. K&R
My Dad was a union member. I can't believe those Democrats who spoke against unions. Enough is enough.

12. I have not given to the DSCC, DCCC, or DNC
since 2000. I always do my own research and donate directly to a candidate.
