3. Easy Chuck--Lincoln's margin of victory was four points,
not forty!

MSNBC's "political director" is always patting himself on the back

4. I have to agree with him there. Labor can make a small
difference in a close election and that's about it. What is Union membership today 10% or even less and a good percentage of their members vote Republican. Unions made themselves irrelevant once their members got good wages and benefits they started voting Republican.

7. I worked for GM at the Tech Center for 30 years. Local 160
As an hourly employee. I would venture to say that a large portion of the hourly workers vote Republican.

6. Look at how close Halter came in a Right to Work State.
The Unions and Netroots really made hx, but too many are
ready to buy the MSM narrative.

8. Labor blew Mondale's chances in '84? Hate to say it, but Chucky nobody was going to beat
Reagan that year.

12. Mondale told the truth in the 1984 campaign, and got punished for it.
He said that whomever became POTUS in 1984 would have to raise taxes.

He was right. Reagan raised taxes after he was re-elected.

14. Toady's got it wrong as usual
Labor damn near defeated an incumbent Senator- forced her into a runoff, despite the president, a former president and an ostensibly progressive 4 star general from her state campaigning for her!
