For perspective...and balance.

Menendez hails Lincoln win
Posted: June 8th, 2010 11:16 PM ET

(CNN) – Sen. Bob Menendez, chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, said in a statement that Arkansas Sen. Blanche Lincoln has "proven once again she is a true independent voice for the people of Arkansas."

Full statement:

“Congratulations to Blanche Lincoln on winning a hard-fought primary. Blanche has proven once again she is a true independent voice for the people of Arkansas, but she is also a fighter for what she believes in and will never stop standing-up for her convictions or for her state.

“Tomorrow we kickoff the general election and the choice for Arkansas voters could not be any starker. Blanche Lincoln is focused on the needs of Arkansas’s middle class and is working hard to hold Wall Street and the big banks accountable. Congressman Boozman helped create this economic mess, opposes all of the efforts to turn the economy around, and would return us to the failed policies of the past. He has opposed common-sense job creation plans and continues to support the privatization of Social Security. John Boozman puts his political interests first in order to defend the big corporate interests that fared so well when George Bush was president.”

12. He was against Dorgan's Amendment too...when 3 years ago he was for it.
Menendez is a dirty dealer in my book.

It's become their job- which is why individual candidates- not the DSSC, get my support when the time comes.

10. Amen to that. FDR knew that you could not serve two masters, corporations and the people.
He chose the people.

Dems ever since have been cozier and cozier with the corporations . . .
