I saw talking heads on both msnbc and cnn today complaining now that Obama is focusing too much time on the gulf, and not enough on JOBS and the economy...and last week, Chuck Todd was complaining that Obama's speech on the economy seemed "out of place", because people are worrying about the gulf! Also, Morning Joe has decided that now that Obama has gone down there enough times, he just isn't "good enough at backslapping people" and looks uncomfortable, and needs to "make a speech". Ugh.

Chris Matthews said, "What is he TALKING about? We (the media) were there BEFORE he was down there and we'll continue to cover it every day. This isn't going away." That's a paraphrase, but he was angry. :eyes:
