5. Seriously.
These idiots kept yelling "Obama Messiah" like anyone actually believed it, and now that they've found something he can't do, their relief is stunning to behold.

Projection is the cross of human existence, isn't it?

4. I think the argument is that its his fault that it hasnt been cleaned up yet
Not that the oil was spilled in the first place.

8. lol, no....
.... well, I agree with you that the press isn't blaming him for it STARTING ... but the main cry is that he hasn't STOPPED it yet ... when NO ONE can (any faster than we're doing.)

You'll noticed Malia didn't say, "did you clean up the oil yet daddy."

If the leak had long since stopped, and the admin appeared to do nothing, then I'd agree with the press. But right now part of what's expected of him is virtually impossible.

As for the clean up effort .... he talked quite a bit today about what the admin was doing in that regard ... of course the press hasn't mentioned that much.

6. Yea, because even when people operating the rig that day, knew they were about to do something bad..
...did it anyway at the behest of their superiors, that is somehow President Obama's fault.

7. It is BPs own fucking fault ....
as well as BushCo dereg on drilling.

But Obama being the bigger man, has taken responsibility even though he had nothing to do with it. If Obama had Dereged them, then I would be pissed at him, but this is not that case.

13. They are becoming one pitiful group of cry baby's!
It is very simply put "jeolousy", they will never achieve anything and they can't fathom the thought of a black man actually being the one to fix it. Sorry but when you get down to the "root cause" of all of this childish bullshit that's what it is.

They love their corporations as long as the corps are screwing everyday Americans but when it comes to something that could impact them personally then they want the government to come in and rescue them.

14. Apparently you forget his super powers. Like he couldn't have dived 5,000
feet under the ocean and twisted the wellhead into submission? Why did he bother to come to the Gulf if he wasn't going to do that?

15. The problem is caused by the gushing oil but the scope of the problem is far greater
The biggest problem is the government allowing BP's wanton disregard for wild life and the environment to cover their ass from the damage they are doing.

Anybody that thinks beyond closing that well that BP (within a very much calculated cost) is putting the way of life of our citizens, the fauna and flora, or the environment over their own financial liability and criminal culpability is nuts, a Pollyanna, or schlepping for big business in the most soulless possible manner.
