8. Granted, repug/conservative types are more inclined to support any type of military maneuverings.
A majority of Democrats will oppose Obama on this policy. For sure.

That being said, anyone who says Obama is projecting the "Bush Doctrine" is...full of shit.

12. I saw this in the comment section of the Micheal Moore youtube video.
I found it interesting.

Obama: "We Did Not Ask for This Fight"
Bush: "We Did Not Seek This Conflict"
Obama: "New Attacks are Being Plotted as I Speak"
Bush: "At This Moment ... Terrorists are Planning New Attacks"
Obama: "Our Cause is Just, Our Resolve Unwavering"
Bush: "Our Cause is Just, Our Coalition Determined"
Obama: "This Is No Idle Danger"
Bush: "The Enemies of Freedom Are Not Idle"
Obama: "We Have No Interest in Occupying Your Country"
Bush: "I Wouldn't Be Happy if I Were Occupied Either"

9. Oppose.
I doubt very many of us were waiting for a speech 8 years into a war to decide if we support or oppose it.

10. This has the appearance of a clean up strategy, i.e., Exit Strategy
It takes time and a large number of troops to extricate
an army from war scenes.

13. As long as the exit strategy holds, I support it.
We simply can pull up the tents and run. The Taliban cells are there, perilously close to a nuclear arsenal in Pakistan, and we have to do something render those cells inert while we bolster a long-term political campaign in the region. The latter part is where the strategies of Bush and Obama will differ significantly.

14. I supported the policy during the campaign.

I support the policy today, with slightly more trepidation attached. The exit strategy is an ESSENTIAL element.

Cleaning up after the Boosh clusterfuck regime is not easy...and it's not painless. This mission seems a logical step in that direction.

16. Althought I don't like it - I support it.
I don't see the option of bringing everyone home now as the best for this country. Frankly, i'm not concerned with Afghanistan - but another attack on US soil would have devistating effects for our economy & moral... a surge now to get everyone home in the next 2 - 3 years seems to be a better option then waiting to get attacked, having that easily get someone like Palin elected in '12, and starting all over again... new war, more money, and even more lives lost.

17. I'd like to know what Obama would have done if He'd Inherited Clintons World instead of Booshe's...
The world that Bush inherited from Clinton: stable economy, no wars, etc...

Just imagine...

As for Afghanistan, I don't love it but I trust him, so I guess I support it and hope it works out.
