.... and that is MAJOR since we all know the decline in manufacturing has been a problem since LONG before even Bush came into office.

3. Announces agreement to help local communities rehabilitate GE facilities...
... or it MIGHT have been GM facilities .... sorry. Point is, government will help local communities find new ways to help old plants run again and provide jobs.

Which gives one the extent of this President's bully pulpit.....
He will be heard when the cable Executives says he will.
They most likely don't want him influencing the elections.....
only media heads get to do that, in favor of Republicans!

... the ONLY way I knew it had started was because I got a Tweet from the WH but he was already speaking when I started the thread. (The feed is usually only available about 10 mins before it starts.)

Dont know about all of the networks, but MSNBC started coverage at the time he would have been in the meat of his remarks ... if he wasn't early. ;)

I'm gonna cut them some slack on that one .... not sure WHY they went early other than the fact he left a bunch of stuff to do on his desk....

you know...
