ABC's This Week: Immigration and Arizona
George Will is really upset. I wonder if it is because the Reverend Sharpton is sitting next to him? He sits there with his arms crossed.

Will's facts have been refuted and disputed quite effectively by Sharpton and some gal I don't recognize. Sharpton at one point essentially called Will a liar when Will recited a so called federal law.

1. Al Sharpton is doing great. He's sharp as a tack and is flustering all the GOP lying hacks.
Normally, they get away with their bullshit but not this time. :D

2. "that gal" was Katrina vanden Heuvel -
Of the NAtion! She and the Reverend Sharpton were great this morning!

George Will looked like someone was making him drink cod liver oil. Politfact is going to have a field day with the lies he told this morning.

3. He is used to having a rigged game ...
for years, and I mean YEARS, the "roundtable" almost always has consisted of two dyed in wool scumbag "conservatives" one "moderate" who played to the "to be fair, both sides are the same" and one dem tin can ...

He NEVER has had a panel with this many strong voiced Ds around him ...

Rs are a pretty weak group - they like the contests to be rigged in their favor /

7. Well I have to admit -- Jake Tapper is good.
I do wish he were staying in that seat. seriously, 2 (real) dems -- 2 conservatives and Bill Maher-- who, imo was the weakest link there. Not a knock on Bill -- he is a libertarian and not a pundit, journo or politician -- he is an entertainer.

I thought Will was going to throw his coffee mug at Sharpton.

4. I'm glad Sharpton did. Old Will can't use ten dollar words to hide how wrong he is.

5. It was a wonderful sight to behold!
My favorite part was when Will tried to compare the Arizona "Papers, Please" law with the requirement that everyone entering a government building show id.

Rev. Sharpton, who obviously wasn't born yesterday and who apparently is quicker and more intelligent than Will (and probably a few other folk) give him credit for, immediately lanced that comparison, pointing out that the latter required ALL persons to show id, not just certain ones and certainly did not leave it up to the discretion of law enforcement officials to pick and choose just who would have to prove their right to be there.

Sharpton was brilliant.
