White House Correspondents Dinner Guests Span Hollywood, Sports

April 26, 2010 3:24 pm ET by Joe Strupp

With the White House Correspondents Association dinner set for this Saturday at the Washington Hilton, names of the celebrity guests who always appear at the event are trickling out.

Among those reportedly planning to attend are; Donovan McNabb, Alec Baldwin, Kristin Davis, Jimmy Fallon, John Cusack, Morgan Freeman, Kathryn Bigelow, The Jonas Brothers, Cicely Tyson, Julianna Margulies, Tony Romo, Ryan Seacreast, and Betty White.

Jay Leno is the entertainment headliner, while President Barack Obama is, of course, the guest of honor.

3. With few exceptions, I have no desire to watch arrogant ruling class jerks laugh
at each other's inane jokes. I hold no respect for these corrupt shills.

4. The White House Correspondents Dinner sucks big time!
I never forgot the spectacle of that scumbag racist Don Imus and the tasteless and unfunny jokes he told about Bill Clinton. I may have my issues with Bill, but what Imus did was out of bounds!

8. Colbert was NOT part of their club - he pulled back the curtain to show their bloated ugliness.

9. The person.. I'm most excited that
is going to be there is Julianna Marquiles. I love her new show "The Good Wife" for which she won a Golden Globe..and on that show, April 6th..another character said she "thought sarah palin was the devil incarnate".

More truth in that show than in the so-called "media"..Tony and Ridley Scott are Executive Producers.

16. The political elites and their media megaphones, in tuxedos and gowns!
A putrid exhibition of all that is wrong with the Beltway.
