The Repubs would really, really, really like to kill financial reform...
But, they don't have the votes at the moment. They are working fiercely to get them.

The Democrats are sort of hoping they do. It will be the perfect issue going into the fall elections.

Unfortunately for the Repubs, Richard Shelby, Chuck Grassley, and Scott Brown are leaning to voting for reform. Perhaps there are more?

There is no margin of error for McConnell. He must get all the Republicans on board or persuade a Democrat or Independent, like Joe Lieberman, to come on board. Democrats have been disappointed by Lieberman before.

This vote is not a done deal. Yet.

1. Either way, I think it works to the Dem's advantage.
But the country needs financial reform, badly.

3. Limbaugh will give them a call and they will fall into line. They will probably get Lieberman too.
