Just wondering.. Who has the time to take a bus ride across America?
Seriously.. I know the T-people have wrapped up their party yesterday.. but while the rest of us work dawn to dusk, or are chasing kids, looking for jobs etc etc.. who paid for these people to spend all that time on the bus going across America.

Who takes all that time off work?

Who has land lines anymore to answer polls to let us know how America thinks?

Who has time to run around in the woods shooting guns and preparing for revolution? How are they supporting themselves?.. must be nice to have all the money..

Just kind of curious as to who these people are.. I read they are all college educated and quite wealthy.. can't spell but educated. (If that is what home schooling does for you, I think we might need to look into a little more stringent testing of skills for people)

Sitting there collecting their social security checks and medicare checks.. the money they invested in to the plans that was their own.. long gone.. but they keep collecting. I am all for the social security network..but since they are so opposed to government requirements, I think it would behoove them to stop taking any money once their lifetime contributions have been used up.. I mean I do not want people to go against their principles by taking money from me.. an avowed Democrat to pay their rent.

Just some random questions and musings

I've got one relative in Florida that lives in government subsidized housing, collects Social Security, and is on Medicare. This guy rails constantly against the government.

4. I would guess hired guns paid by Armey. But - are they driving on
socialist highways?
Goddamnit they should only travel on private roads!

2. Will the Koch Brothers pay for my free trip?
I'd love to take a free trip from LA to New York. Can I get the Koch Brothers to fork over the ¢a$h for it?

And they need to give me a generous expense account too!

5. Info on Tea partiers: they are more wealthy then the average American.
Must be nice to take a road trip to complain about your taxes and the govt. Meanwhile, the rest of us struggle to pay our bills. They are older, whiter, and more male. In other words, they are payed better.

18. I did a train ride across America when I was a little kid
It was great, except for Chicago. We were coming from California, the west was a great ride, but we had to change trains in Chicago. We were moving from California back to the east coast, and I wasn't acclimated to cold weather any more. We had to wait a few hours for the next train, and I didn't have any gloves, my hands were hurting so bad, and I was really whiney about it. I don't remember much about the rest of the trip, nothing really stuck out to me except Chicago and the west.

14. The Madison Teabag event had:
- 20 plush buses that delivered people from all over
- 30 x 45 foot video screen system
- PA system that had at least 6 large monitor speakers connected to the video system
- Dozen very large tents for booths/tables
- Concert-level sound board and several operators

The budget for this event would be at least $100,000 a day. Add the Fox News satellite truck, which was parked from 8AM-3PM and had city permits for the spot.

Yeah, grassroots movement for the people by the people... my ass...

17. Someone like me - retired with no obligations on my time.
Of course, I'm a liberal and would rather travel cross country by train...If we still have any passenger trains left...
