How does one Poll for "intelligence" and level of Education?

Aren't polls simply based on folks answering questions and surveys?
Is there really any real fact check done on this....cause I don't think so.

I'm just curious about this asinine assertion that
Teabaggers are "smarter" or whatever bullshit we
are being sold by our fucked up news media.

If a dumbass says he/she graduated from college,
does that truly make it so? Cause I know that Karl Rove
never graduated and Sarah Palin barely did, and Bush's father's money
got him through.....
so, excuse me if I refuse to believe propaganda,
just cause some corporate newswhore reports that
this is so. Why believe a media and some folks that will tell you
that there were 10,000 where there were only 1,500?
Seems like the type that would lie about anything.

and then realizing that a poll is not how one finds out
