Discarded Palin contract sparks investigation...Oh really
My my .. elitist much Sarah? This morning on Morning Joe.. they were saying she just wanted water bottles with a straw and what was the big deal about that.. hmmmmmmmm

"The contract detailed the former Alaska governor's requirements for her visit, including first-class flights from Anchorage to California — if she flies commercial. If not, "the private aircraft MUST BE a Lear 60 or larger ...," the contract specifies."

3. I wish MY alternate Reality were
so lucrative...

To get a pass and money for making shit up astounds me... the only solace is wisdom of P.T. Barnum ~ "A sucker is born every minute."

4. She'll never run for office - fleecing the masses is too easy.

Why hold office? The pay is too little and the responsibilities too large.

She's finally found the perfect job for her low functioning brain -- all she has to do is fly around the country first class, answer a few canned questions, and she can rake in millions a year.

5. Learjet 60
On September 19, 2008, a Learjet 60 crashed while taking off from Columbia Metropolitan Airport in Columbia, South Carolina. Performers Travis Barker and DJ AM were injured, while four others were killed in the crash. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane was departing the airport, when air traffic controllers saw sparks emanating from the plane, which went off the runway, smashed through a fence, crossed a nearby road, slammed into an embankment and caught fire.

6. How much does it cost to fly from Anchorage to San Diego via commerical?
From what I could tell a charter flight would appear to cost a minimum of $2,650 an hour. Anchorage to San Diego is about 5 hours. So that would mean $26,500 for a charter flight.
