Photos: All of your Uranium (The Obama Presidency, Day 448)
Edited on Mon Apr-12-10 11:09 PM by Clio the Leo
A color guard of U.S. and Chinese flags awaits President of China Hu Jintao's plane as he arrives in advance of his participation in the nuclear security summit in Washington, called by U.S. President Barack Obama, at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, April 12, 2010.

"No, we dont have time to watch the Tina Fey skit, we gotta go...."

The shadows of US President Barack Obama (R) and his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao are cast on a board as they hold a bilateral meeting at the Washington Convention Center as a part of the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, DC, on April 12, 2010. Obama opened an unprecedented nuclear security summit, warning that the atomic aspirations of groups like Al-Qaeda are the top security threat to the United States.

Some like to call this "kowtowing to our enemies", *I* call it "getting China to agree to begin the process of http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-fg-nuclear-summit13-2010apr13,0,4294428.story">sanctioning Iran"

"Seriously Silvio, you have GOT to stop pinching President Fernandez on the bum!

"Yeah yeah yeah, steal MY Olympics will ya! Get off MY stage! Ha ha!"

"No more hot dogs Barack, http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/03/30/sarkozys-eat-half-smokes-at-bens-chili-bowl/">the last ones gave me gas."

"Hey there!"
U.S. President Barack Obama (L) greets South Korea's President Lee Myung-bak

"You know I LOVE me some Myung-bak!"

"No! You all are TAKING Celine Dion back! I dont want to hear any more about it! We had a deal! We'd THROW the hockey game if you agreed to take her! Now STICK to your side of the bargain or we're KEEPING Gretsky!"
U.S. President Barack Obama (R) greets Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper at the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington April 12, 2010. "Care for a little shoulder rub Angela?"
President Barack Obama (R) welcomes German Chancellor Angela Merkel

"Ha ha, just messin' with you!"

"... but I WOULD love a little kiss Mr. President!"

"ok, ok, keep the line moving! I've got 85 other people to meet!"

"Ok press people! I'm done being fabulous. See you all tomorrow! Get some rest! You're gonna need it!"

Wait ... one more....

1. Clio, your captions make me love these photos all the more! What an exceptional
summit this is! I bet these world leaders are SO APPRECIATIVE that Obama's at the helm now, and not they who shall not be named.

3. I love that he hangs out with a French guy so much.
