Newt Takes Question From Man About “The Kenyan” And Doesn’t React

At Newt Gingrich’s “Real Jobs Summit” in New Orleans a man stood up and remarked that even if conservatives could lower costs in year one, “then year two, when the Kenyan decides we need more money, it’ll be back up to 30, 35%. They can’t be trusted.”

However, unlike John McCain, who once corrected an audience member who referred to Obama as “a Arab,” the former House speaker didn’t correct the record.

6. I'm not surprised, really. Newt is only showing that he's a card-carrying member of the RNC.

His apparent omission that lent a nod to the "birthers" only showed his lack of conscience as well as his virulent racism. So, no, he wasn't going to correct the audience member for saying "the Kenyan". He would rather continue that dogwhistle against Obama in order to lay down further points that the election of the POTUS was one of illegitimacy.

Yet another reason why Newt and the rest of his ilk should go screw themselves.

9. Newt is wanting to run for POTUS

He saw what happened to McCain after correcting the "arab" comment. Backlash from extremists and NO pats on the back from moderate Republicans. It was a total losing scenario fo McCain. McCain was NOT viewed by the Right as a decent human being for making that type of correction. Newt is not about to offend any one voter. No sir-eeeee.
