"GOP senator to Obama: You do immigration bill" - Laziness As A Virtue?
We had GOP senators voting to close down the Senate passed 2:00 p.m. Now, we have GOP senators promising to sit on their hands on immigration.

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham called on President Barack Obama Sunday to do the heavy lifting on immigration reform.

“I urge the president to write a bill and see if he can get another Republican,’’ Graham said on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday morning. “Write a bill and send it to me.’’

Graham has been working for the past year with New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer, who chairs the immigration subcommittee, on a comprehensive immigration reform measure. The two released a framework for a plan just days before the health reform bill vote.

But Graham predicted then that if the democrats pushed through health reform with no GOP help that immigration reform would be dead for this year.

9. President Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi SHOULD take Graham up on his offer
In fact, maybe they should just tell the Republicans that they can just go back home and collect their undeserved paychecks and health insurance for the rest of the session and let the Democrats handle the people's business in Washington. All the Republicans are doing is obstructing everything under the sun anyway. It's not like they're trying to offer any ideas of their own and/or trying to come up with solutions to complex problems. They're wanting to call it quits at 2:00 PM every day now hearings or other important official business be damned and McCain has stated unequivocally that they will NOT cooperate with President Obama and the Democrats in Congress *anymore* (ha-ha). Now, Graham is telling President Obama that maybe he should just handle immigration reform on his own as well. I say, let's take him up on his offer and do what we need to do for this country without the Republicans' *help*.
