"Tonight we learned the power of the Presidential bully pulpit."

Well there you go! Who's gonna argue with Anthony ... on ANYTHING? Not me! ;)

1. Personally, I wished the health insurance reform bill included his Medicare
for All proposal.

7. Grayson's is a buy-in for Medicare. I think that would have a much easier
time passing and getting acceptance and support than a government taxed program. I'd love to see them work together on this. I'm raring to go!

11. I think I caught a moment there at the end when he was the Chair -- It was cool!
And what's up with the Senate, anyway? I've only just learned that historically it's always been a knock-down-drag-out between the House and the Senate. Why, for the love of God?

Anyway, hopefully they'll catch this momentum and start behaving and MAYBE get the PO out there. And again, I'm pushing Grayson's. Lots less hassle, IMO.

:hi:

3. He's right on - the momentum started building when the President
started acting like he cared more about passing this bill than appearing "bipartisan". He made the difference and I hope he realizes it and forgets all that bipartisan shit from here on out.

5. He put the republicans in such a corner that it will blunt the
expected house and senate gains come November...

6. It's been a pleasure watching Weiner be the GOP's worse nightmare the last couple days.
"OWNED" does not even begin to describe what's he's been doing to them.

8. I'm happy the bill passed
But two of our TN Blue Dogs voted with the Republicans...Tanner is retiring which is a really a good thing L. Davis is now in a Dist that is going to be redistricted and he may end up as my rep.all I can say to tha is s--t. Bart Gordon is my Rep. now he is another Blue Dog but is retiring...Tanner takes a lot of money from Ins Industry....Davis didn't take any but my bet is he will now....We have to elect progressives and I don't see many of them in TN.
