6. I looked it up..
"An abusive or contemptuous word or phrase."

Actually that word(epitaphs) has been perplexing me for awile. I was going to use it as this kind of description before and I looked it up and it didn't fit..and, then I said I saw it used yesterday to the "racial and sexual" epithets so I went with it.

Ah the English language(my native).. Thanks, this has cleared up something for moi:)

4. Doris Kerns Goodwin used that today. I thought she would have known better, though...
...it may just have been a slip of the tongue in her case.

he's watching Faux in the bedroom today. Of course Rove is making up his own words to suit his twisted views.

9. it's both, signalling an epitaph: passage of the neocons
and an epithet signalling boiling your message down to 1 word vulgarities to intimidate which is what they are doing as they sink
back down into their own toxic brew.

12. It's a big word for little people like Turd Blossom, especially with the 'h' being silent and all.
It's a good word that isn't used nearly enough, especially with all of the derogatory name-calling that goes on in the IT age.
