"Mitch McConnell may have won the award for the most lies told in a single sentence."

The last acts of a desperate party - FREAK OUT TIME!!!

by Eclectablog

The Republicans and their brethren on the right are in the final stages of desperation. Yesterday, Mitch McConnell may have won the award for the most lies told in a single sentence:

"This is how they’ll try to keep their fingerprints off a bill that forces taxpayers to cover the cost of abortions, that cuts Medicare by half a trillion dollars, raises taxes by half a trillion dollars, raises insurance premiums, which creates a brand new government entitlement program at a time when the entitlement programs we have are on the verge of bankruptcy, and which vastly expands the cost and reach of the federal government in Washington at a time when most Americans think government is already too big.

Impressive.

5. I have never heard a truth come out of McConnell's mouth. Turn on CSPAN
to watch the Senate any day of the week and you will see the lie machine in action.

8. I would bet this little gem of a statement is all over MSM
I have not gone and looked for it, to see just where this little statement is playing, in all is horsecrap glory, but I bet it is being broadcast from the highest peak to the lowest valley on FAUX, Conservative Snooze Network (formerly known as CNN) and anywhere else it can be broadcast.

15. It does not force taxpayers to cover the cost of abortions.
The Hyde Amendment took care of that almost 40 years ago.

It doesn't create ANY new government "entitlement" programs.

It doesn't raise taxes on anyone except those making half a fucking kabillion dollars.

Most Americans do NOT think government is too big.
