Any polling on the health care summit
Edited on Fri Feb-26-10 04:01 PM by bigdarryl
I'm hearing all major news outlets the usual suspects all claim they thought the rethugs did better. Sounds like they were on another planet during that summit. Any person who watched that in any amount of time isn't honest if they say these rethugs won that summit. It wasn't even CLOSE!!!!!! Obama alone wiped the floor with his points

2. The talking heads thought the Repugs won?!!??
I must have been listening to a different meeting. Last night Tweety had a great clip of all the Rs saying the same two lame points over and over and over again ad nauseum--"Let's start over", "take it step-by-step..." It was pretty hilarious.

The M$M is utterly hopeless. :eyes:

4. If there is any polling
all it will capture is the reaction to the sound bites from the evening news. I would expect that the audience share for it wasn't that much, and if you pull out the people who were actively rooting for their own side, I'd bet the impact on the mushy middle was quite minimal indeed.

5. As I recall, all those same idiots thought George Bush won every debate.
They also thought John McCain won at least one debate, which is fucking hysterical. The Republicans can't reach the next ladder rung with the media pushing their asses up.

6. I'm sure they took polls
and if they favored the Republicans we'd never hear the end of it.

Since we're not hearing anything, I can only conclude that our side did better.

7. I think the MSM is beginning to learn that their "unscientific" polls are bullshit and useless.
I saw a CNN poll early this morning that showed 73% believed it was a waste of time... and clearly freeped. MSNBC didn't have one at all... maybe they do now. Anyway, nobody's talking about them.

9. The LA Times Article was basically favorable to Obama and Dems
Stated is is clear they must go it alone and that it is a major issue that needs to be undertaken.
