AP "analyst" invents facts: "a health care plan that a majority of voters don't favor."
Edited on Fri Feb-26-10 02:38 AM by TheeHazelnut
Ron Fournier of the Associated Press on summit:

Republicans branded Obama as arrogant and overreaching for refusing to drop a health care plan that a majority of voters don't favor. The GOP hopes to kill it.

Thanks, Ron, for inventing bullshit fact-free statements about the opinion of the majority of voters. I suppose the wiggle room he has is that he's saying that "Republicans branded," but he states the "opinion of the majority" as if it's a fact that the majority of voters think this without offering the obvious factual polling evidence this is false.

1. Propaganda 101: Write opinion, allegations, and make accusations

as though they are facts.

AP is good at it. Apparently there was a directive that the Corporate media took,
I don't know who from, that this time round, they should say that the GOP won.
So they are. Reminds me of the debates....when they would decide,
and an insta poll would quickly say otherwise.

2. Ron Fournier has always been a tool.
You can write to him at rfournier@ap.org.

He's been catapulting the propaganda for a long long time.

3. Oh wow...
Just looked him up based on your comments and he is an amazing journalist.

Karl Rove exchanged emails about Pat Tillman with Associated Press reporter Ron Fournier, under the subject line "HE-R-O." In response to Mr. Fournier’s e-mail, Mr. Rove asked, "How does our country continue to produce men and women like this," to which Mr. Fournier replied, "The Lord creates men and women like this all over the world. But only the great and free countries allow them to flourish. Keep up the fight."

A rising star of our "liberal media." I also see the 2008 McCain campaign tried to hire him as their communications director.
