...some might think that she misspoke, meant to say the "tyranny of the majority" rather than the "tyranny of the minority". Especially since the term "tyranny of the majority" has been a term used historically.

But, see, that's not it. She did not misspeak. She said exactly what she meant to say. See, President Obama is a "minority". And to Ms. Matalin, anything he attempts to actually accomplish politically is "tyranny". Ergo, the "tyranny of the minority" can be translated as the "tyranny of Barack Obama, that, that, ... n... er... b-b-black guy".
