12. now following...
you can find me easily... I'm really that easy...

Bring it on! My alarm is set and I am ready to rock and roll! -- as long as the repubs are satisfied with the chair arrangement..... and the snacks, and the water, and the table, and the polish used to clean the table

and the rich Corinthian leather that they will be smacked about with.

15. It will be interesting to see just what drivel the R's toss intot he fray...
they squealed for this, and ow that they have a chance to go on TV w/their "points", it should be a circus on their side.

How much you want to bet, they will start with abortion, then stay there all day long...:hi:

18. That would certainly go along with me Stupak theory...
... and what better way to block Obama's portrayal as "the great bipartisan mediator" by reminding your base that he "kills babies."

19. Even the wild-eyed anti-choicers around here thought the image...
of PO killing crawling babies on the floor was OTT.

One of the few rallying points the GOP has though, is abortion. I've been fighting w/them for years over this...they had the House, the Senate, the WH and a compliant USSC...but they did, nothing. To me, and almost everyone else, this proved the point that they intend to do nothing except bring the issue up in every election cycle. To the R's, it's a gift that keeps on giving, and they will never do anything about it; if they did, they'd have only the disastrous "tax cut" issue...:hi:

20. Except here in the Bible Belt....
... not a huge deal since they're not going to vote for Obama anyway.

But I have anecdotal evidence of school age children asking their parents (because they hear it from the wingnuts kids) "Mama, why does President Obama kill babies?"

No one here seemed concerned that Bush "killed grown men in Texas," but that's beside the point I guess.

22. bush is a psychopath...
Rarely have I seen an individual talk about death, whether by war, execution or any other means...actually smile when discussing it. He actually chuckled during a debate when mentioning an upcoming execution...:grr:

21. You can bet Fox will have a flunky or two monitoring events in the country for
police chases, fires, or other crises (kitten stranded in tree! OMG!!!) they can cut away to if things become awkward.

23. They're actually PROMISING more coverage than the other two are....
Edited on Thu Feb-25-10 09:32 AM by Clio the Leo
.. I didn't post their press release here because they suck monkey butt and no one was going to watch them anyway, but it details coverage ALL day and night. No interruptions for hockey games. :)

MSNBC is actually covering it the least (because they're cutting away for the hockey game at 2.)

It's here if you want to see it....

24. I hate to say it, but...
I'm watching on faux because they are NOT cutting in. I switched off MSNBC and CNN when they popped their bobble-heads in there while I was trying to listen to the event. No interruptions at all in hours, just a ticker at the bottom for other news. I only have dial-up and my streaming cspan radio kept cutting out so I had to switch to TV. I hate it but at least I get to see.
