B'ut we also thought Coakley was going to win. Realism is important.

1. Who thought Coakley was going to win?
Not me. And I think the public option can pass.

4. I didn't single you out
I remember a poll conducted here in DU, in which a member asked others to say "from your gut" who did they think would win the elections in Mass., and it wasn't even close. 87% said Coakley, and 13% said Brown.

3. Or any DEM government unless campaign finance reform with real impact happens
Since it would take bought and paid for pols to make real campaign finance reform happen, thinking a meteor strike is on my house is about as likely.
