Brown was elected for a variety of reasons, but for whatever purposes, politicians and the media seem to have embraced the meme that the tea-types almost single-handedly elevated Brown to victory.

In politics, myth is reality. So now Brown must behave as if the right-wing, and the right-wing alone, put him where he is. That much vigorous, passionate support is seductive to a politician. They're speaking of him seriously as the heir to Reagan.

I have a feeling he's going to embrace the Right and lose his seat as a result. Unless he's wily.

If he's wily, then I'll worry.
