Scott Brown Yawns At Plane Attack On IRS Building: ‘Everyone Hates Taxes’
Scott Brown Yawns At Plane Attack On IRS Building: ‘Everyone Hates Taxes’

<...>

Newly-minted Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) appeared on Fox’s Neil Cavuto and showed none of the outrage and concern about terrorism that he exuded during his Senate election campaign. Asked for his reaction, Brown said he felt for the families, but quickly shrugged off the attack and transitioned to say that “people are frustrated” and “no one likes paying taxes.” Watch it:

<...>

Who knew hating taxes was justification for lunacy?

Edited on Thu Feb-18-10 09:03 PM by karynnj
Can he give us a list of other parts of the government that he thinks people might have some justified anger against? Not to mention the absolutely inflated ego, when he speaks of the anger about the way things were done in DC - "at least until I got here"!

What is weird is the complete lack of emotion.

20. Not just a justification for lunacy two people were killed
it's murder. 13 people injured attempted murder.

This kind of statement from Brown and others like him should not be tolerated because it appears to some that this kind of action is acceptable.

22. This should end any discussion of him as President or VP
Between this as the fact that he spoke of the jobs the stimulus created in his district before the election and now says there were none should make it obvious that he really is not all that thoughtful.

"* Domestic terrorism in Austin? "A software engineer upset with the Internal Revenue Service set fire to his home Thursday and then flew his plane into a multistory office building that houses federal tax employees, authorities said. The pilot was presumed to have died in the crash, federal law enforcement officials said. At least two people were injured and a third person who worked in the building was unaccounted for, fire officials said."

At least for federal taxes. And I know the same is true for a boatload of people.

Methinks Mr. Brown doesn't know what he's talking about. Shocking, I know, but the truth has to come out.

and they had zero taxes to pay, who would plow the snow on the roads? Who would arrest the burgler in your house? Who would provide a small stipend to the person without food? Who would educate your children? Who would remove garbage from the streets? People like Scott Brown live in lala land.

Edited on Fri Feb-19-10 08:25 AM by izzybeans
It is more patriotic to pay your taxes then to, oh let's say, attempt to dodge your taxes in some dumb ass scheme, blame everyone else for your stupidity (the government included) and then fly your rich ass in your own plane right into a federal building.

Fuck Stack, his bullshit grievance, and Scott Brown for giving comfort to terrorists like him. Isn't anyone else struck at the similarity between his manifesto and an OBL fatwa?

35. What Scott Brown said was inexcusable.
No matter how bad this the guy's gripe was, his reaction is inexcusable, and for an elected official to give it any credence is tantamount to endorsing murder and terrorism of government employees.

It that simple and people should be calling brown out for that.
