..ahem...About the Bennet letter...
is this letter and the signatures just for show?
where are the rest of the crew who were originally for it?

Senators that are MIA

John D. Rockefeller (D-WV); Russell D. Feingold (D-WI); Daniel K. Akaka (D-HI); Ron Wyden (D-OR); Debbie Stabenow (D-MI); Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ); Barbara A. Mikulski (D-MD); Daniel K. Inouye (D-HI); Edward E. Kaufman (D-DE); Arlen Specter (D-PA); Maria Cantwell (D-WA); Robert Menendez (D-NJ); Herb Kohl (D-WI).

I will tell you that Senator Bennet is facing a tought primary, and his opponent is looking good in the polls. They had a debate the other night and Senator Bennet sounded just like his opponent.... He has all of a sudden gotten a progressive streak...it is nice to see, but I wonder about the sincerity of it.

We have been down this path before. Dems act like they are going to do something good for the people...but can't quite get enough backbone....ummm I mean votes.

2. I'm voting for Romanoff in the Primary
Bennet's 180 is not to be trusted, imo.

6. Bennet knows he has to move to the left to win the primary
especially since Romanoff has been picking up all the big endorsements lately. It kind of makes you wonder who was (and is) behind Bennet. All that out of state money flowing into his campaign. The President coming to Denver to hold a fundraising rally for him. His east coast connections.

9. that's why I think the Bennet pettition is for "show"
that's why we need much more pressure put on our very dysfunctional senators

I want to force a vote...let's see where all the dems stand. Mark Udall is not up for re-election but we let him know this was one vote that his constituents will not forget nor will they forgive!
