Sierra Club attacks Lincoln in Arkansas

Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.), under pressure from the right at home, is starting to get flak there from the left as well.

The Sierra Club is up with a new radio spot harshly attacking Lincoln's opposition to the EPA's plan to regulate carbon emissions under the Clean Air Act.

"Instead of standing up for Arkansas's future, Sen. Blanche Lincoln is co-sponsoring legislation to roll back the Clean Air Act laws to protect us from polluters putting poison into the air we breathe," says the ad's narrator. "Sen. Lincoln, it's time to choose sides: lobbyists and Washington insiders, or the health and welfare of Arkansas families."
