3. God...Oh my Ayiti....right now the best kept Mardi Gras secret is silent.

If any one wanted to see Mardi Gras at it's best, it's in Ayiti.

5. So here's what I did...

I walked my dog Nola (named after the city) on the ice of Monona Lake while listening to WWOZ on my iPhone with the speaker playing. Then I left Nola off at my home and went to a local pub for some Jambalaya and a couple Abitas while churning the jukebox with Doctor John, Professor Longhair and Erma Thomas. I gave a dozen Mardi Gras beads to a some wonderful gals who I then danced with to the Professor Longhair's "Tipitina".

I hope others celebrated this wonderful day in some fashion.
