"Trump has joined the parade of conservatives citing recent snowstorms to deny...global warming."

Donald Trump: Take Al Gore’s Nobel Prize away because of ‘coldest winter ever recorded.’

Beauty pageant and casino owner Donald Trump has joined the parade of conservatives citing recent snowstorms to deny the reality of global warming. He called into question the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize awarded to the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and former Vice President Al Gore for their work in communicating the threat of manmade climate change. Speaking to the 500 members of the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York, Trump said that the Nobel Prize committee should “take the Nobel Prize back from Al Gore”:

With the coldest winter ever recorded, with snow setting record levels up and down the coast, the Nobel committee should take the Nobel Prize back from Al Gore. Gore wants us to clean up our factories and plants in order to protect us from global warming, when China and other countries couldn’t care less. It would make us totally noncompetitive in the manufacturing world, and China, Japan and India are laughing at America’s stupidity.

In reality, China, Japan, and India have all submitted greenhouse gas emissions targets under the Copenhagen Accord, and are to build the clean-energy technologies of the future. Furthermore, the unprecedented weather patterns that have brought snowfall to every state in the continental United States are the product of a record-hot planet. Following the hottest decade on record, we are now in the hottest winter in the satellite record, and this past January was one of the hottest Januaries on record for the planet. (H/T EcoPolitology)

The stupid is thick.

3. Yeah, and Vancouver is having a record breaking warm winter. I cannot explain stupidity.
Weather is NOT climate! Must we repeat this over and over again? I think I learned that in science class in 5th grade.

...to the point where they stop being "freaky" and become commonplace.

11. Trump ignores how warm it has been at the Winter Olympics that they had to truck snow in!
The snowstorms in the South and mid-Atlantic states are caused by El Niño weather pattern.
