I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we're NOT gonna torture this dude either and, hey, if is family can get him to give up some valuable info, more power to them.

3. We are talking about "H" not "W."
And criticizing his capture is criticizing the military men who risked their lives to take him alive. Screw the GOP if they try that.

5. I agree they won't torture him. On one of the shows this weekend Biden was asked
"do you think waterboarding works?' -- and he said "No." Simple as that.

16. Yeah, it was an emphatic no.
Torturing is counter productive. Makes us look bad and gives the enemy a way to sell terrorism to new recruits.

17. And I've heard -- even John McCain admitted -- that torture doesn't
get INFORMATION, it only gets a CONFESSION. The person will say whatever you want him to just to make it stop. I know I would!

7. What the EFF is Cheney going to do with this?
He will turn it into a turd, and, as I am really high on Rachel tonight, she will turn his reaction into one that is solid gold.

8. The rw a-holes need to shut up and shut up NOW about Obama being weak on terrorism.
I HATE war, but you have to admit that this administration has done more in one year than the last admin did in 8.
It's unbelievable how anyone can attack Obama as being weak.

9. The ONE thing they were good at was warfare....
.... granted, they didn't always choose the BEST wars, but the wars they fought they did so effectively.

And now he's taken that away from them to.

13. If he is being held by the US he won't be tortured.
If, on the other hand, he is being held by the Pakistanis, I think it would make waterboarding look like surfboarding.

15. I'd say you're absolutely right.
We're not going to torture him.

He's being held by the Pakistanis. While they let us interrogate him, they're unlikely to want to share the fun bits.
