8. And what makes it so much fun is that we will be able to watch the
Republicans tear themselves apart while we have the first team resting on the sidelines.

10. Better than a republican I guess, but not by much.
Unless he can turn things around. He just sits around warning everyone that he might possibly do something someday.
That seems to be his total strategy.

11. And that is infinitely preferable to a Republic
and i don't care which Republic you suggest. Mittens, Caribou Barbie, Scott "Savior" Brown, any of em.

Heck, Theodore Roosevelt wouldn't be that bad either.

15. My grandpa voted Republican once in his life.
Eisenhower in 1952. Don't know why he didn't vote for him in 1956.

23. Can we fuse Obama with the ghost of FDR?
That would be one dynamite candidate.

The eloquence of Obama and the try-anything approach of FDR would be great.

19. not...
...without bringing bush/cheney, inc to justice, an end to illegal wqrs, a robust public option (and i do mean robust), and astronomically higher taxes on the super rich, for starters.

so, for all practical purposes, not.
