4. Reid is going to lose and he knows it. He has thrown in the towel. I watched
him "complain" today about GOP obstruction and his heart is not in it, he is just filling in time while the senate is controlled by 41 republicans (with help from Lieberman, Bayh, Limcoln and Landreiu). He was barely talking loud enough to activate his microphone.

7. Good. He is a hapless piece of crap majority leader. Maybe Durbin can
Edited on Fri Feb-05-10 06:50 PM by Jennicut
be majority leader next. Really, would we lose much without Reid? We don't have a so called Super Majority now anyway and the conservadems don't want to use our majority to begin with so it is their own damn fault if they lose.

8. Becoming "too loose" is what happens when you keep bending over for the GOP too much.
Sorry, couldn't resist...

15. Blessing in disguise.

This spineless, gutless, dickless piece of shit is a cluster-fuck failure of biblical proportions. The Republicans neutered him when they were in power and he has proven his utter worthlessness over the last year. He is incapable of moving any agenda forward and he will leave, not a legacy, but an opportunity for some other real Democrat to fill his vacuum and lead.

16. If he knows he is going to lose, why doesn't he announce his retirement?
There is still time for another Dem to enter the race in Nevada. Maybe we can salvage that seat. The Republican Party is not very popular here anymore, and the candidates they have now are nothing special. I think that if Reid bowed out, someone like either Jack Carter or Dina Titus could win that seat and keep it in the Dem column.
