Remember when WE wanted to discuss underemployment and people who just gave up looking?
Edited on Wed Nov-25-09 12:44 PM by PBS Poll-435
People looked at us like we were nuts. Now the media and the psychos on talk radio want to push the "REAL" unemployment rate. 17.5% says Sean Hannity...

:wow:

Remember when the Gallup Organization was THE poll that folks looked at to gauge the President's job approval? Now we have the newly re-invented rASSmussen "Daily Presidential Tracking Poll" and its related "Approval Index".

:wtf:

Remember when people wanted justice for the planners of the 9/11 attacks? Those bastards are now being put on trial. Now I am hearing that having these people in court in the city where there acts killed >3000 Americans is a bad thing.

:scared:

Something must have changed or I am remembering recent history all wrong.

:dunce:

2. No, I don't remember that
I never pushed the U-6 figure when Bush was President. There are many reasons why the US and other countries use U-3 as the unemployment rate. Trying to push U-6 is a political ploy to make unemployment figures sound worse.

Remeber when job numbers where rising, now folks on CNBC are asking if
it's a good thing for job numbers to drop below 400,000.
