1. Wasn't that a hoot?
.... and I always like to listen to the audience's reaction during this kind of thing (and on SNL etc.) ..... The laughed and clapped for what Stewart said but they were ALSO clapping for what the President said.

Good news!

3. YES! The audience applauded Obama
givin' it to the Repubs. I loved the whole thing. I was happy to see Stewart "energized" as well as his audience.

8. Thanks! I heard about that..
Steve Benen wrote that Ford probably didn't do himself any favors last night on Colbert..after he(Steve) stated what the polls were on Kristen and Ford in NY.

"* In New York, a new Marist Poll shows Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D) leading former Rep. Harold Ford (D-Tenn.) in a Senate primary, 44% to 27%.

* On a related note, Ford probably didn't improve his chances during his appearance on "The Colbert Report" last night."

10. That Was Hilarious!
I can only imagine how Bush would have handled being questioned by Nancy Pelosi.
