Another huge, pro-education-reforms demonstration in Santiago

Students, teachers, professors, academics took to the streets in Santiago and other cities. Organizers estimated 200,000 demonstrated, 100,000 in the capital and the rest in other cities.

Pinera government issued warning to student leaders that they "are playing with fire."

Usual non-student rowdies turned out to hurl stones at Carabineros. El Mercurio again focuses photo coverage on thugs instead of the scores of thousands who demonstrated peacefully.

I am looking for a Cabinet change in the Pinera administration. Maybe the Education Minister will be canned in effort to stop the demonstrations, which students have promised will continue.
