3. yep, and Uribe should back off.
although when Uribe scoffed at Santos' declaration that the FARC wasn't in Venezuela, Uribe was correct to doubt that assertion. still, he should let Santos be and provide support where he can, and just keep quiet if he disagrees with Santos.

But it is entirely in Santos's prerogative to form a friendly relationship with Chavez, and taking backing serious accusations in exchange for promises of help and the prospect of a better relationship can be a wise thing. Countries do that all the time.
