Humala criticizes Chavez for supporting Gaddafi
Presidential candidate Ollanta Humala criticized Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez for supporting colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi’s violent repression against Libyan protesters, reported El Comercio.

...

“We are terribly ashamed that a regime is using armed force and violence against their own people,” said Humala. Security forces have been firing unarmed protesters after prayers, says various international press sources.

...

What Bolivar is to us, Gaddafi is to Libya," said Chávez in that ocassion.

...

Unlike 2006, Humala has tried to recast himself as a moderate in this presidential campaign, standing aloof from his long-time political ally, Chávez.

1. Humala is trying to get elected
He'll say anything right now. Chavez criticized Castro when he was running for the first time. Later, he took off his mask. Humala used to be financed by Chavez, anything or anybody close to Chavez should be highly suspect.
