Relatives of Victims remember the U.S. invasion of Panama
Relatives of Those Killed During The U.S. invasion of Panama 21 years ago, Remembered Their loved ones yesterday, Dec. 20, commemorated Which Another anniversary of the military action ouster That Former dictator Manuel Antonio Noriega.
Approximately 50 Relatives Brought Panamanian flags and place flowers on tombstones at the Peace Garden (Garden of Peace) cemetery in the capital, Where They buried the Victims - Both Military and Civilian, Who Were Killed During The invasion by U.S. Troops.
The date is Remembered in the country as a National Day of Reflection, although Relatives of the deceased Are Still Demanding That it be declared for day of mourning. A proposal to declare the day of the invasion as a national mourning day by the previous Approved WAS legislature in 2007, pero WAS subsequently vetoed by then-President Martin Torrijos.
