Cuba eyes foreign investment to halt sugar decline
HAVANA, March 25 (Reuters) - Cuba may open sugar production to foreign investors for the first time since the 1959 revolution as it seeks to reverse the once proud industry's relentless decline, business sources said this week.

Declining output in a communist country...must be a drought.

1. No sir, the CIA sends agents to steal machetes
It's corpo-fascist plot. They steal machetes, and also have been bribing Cuban government officials to make sure they mismanage things. The CIA is forcing the Cuban government to sign deals with these multinational octopuses, blocksuckers who are only interested in making a profit. They'll put the Cubans to work as if it were 1880, and the profits will go to the foreigners. Of course, some of the communist oligarchs will get to be managers and receive their due, probably travel abroad for training, and so on. But this is ok because they are communists, and they dress in red suits.
