Zelaya Negotiating Committee Statement 10/19/09
See the Google translation, with my bits of transliteration, here...

Downwinder provides the link to the Spanish version. The most important news is that the OAS is meeting, on the matter of the Junta's obstructionism in the talks, TOMORROW, Wed Oct 21.

The Zelaya Committee's conclusion is not a surprise--they conclude that Micheletti is obstructing the agreement on the point of his stepping down and Zelaya returning to his rightful office.

The most ominous thing that has happened is James (Mr. Election Rigger) Baker's op-ed in the WaPo this week promising to bust Obama's balls over this (in so many words--very, very polite, mafia-style but nevertheless...).

Yes, that James Baker. So now we know for certain that the Bush Junta is the designer of this horror, and I think we can be more certain that the Honduran coup IS part of the oil war plan that Rumsfeld left on his desk, that seems to be proceeding apace, with this coup, with the obstruction of all Obama's Latin American appointments in Congress, and with the seven new US military bases in Colombia.
