Radio Globo is calling for a "bullaranga" (a noisy protest) tonight for a half hour. The announcers are having a great time calling for this, in between more serious reports of people detained, beaten and other repression.
"Honk your car horns, blow your trumpets, bang pots and pans, yell, set off fireworks, make your dogs bark, slam doors loudly, make your parrots talk," Globo is saying. The bullaranga is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m Honduras time (9 p.m. Pacific time). :woohoo:
Because the station is off the air in Honduras and can only be heard via the Internet, Globo is telling those with computers to invite neighbors and friends to listen to the station tomorow.
http://www.radioglobohonduras.com/ The station at this moment for the first time is talking about political prisoners in Honduras -- about 80 have been identified. Resistance lawyers are forming a "political prisoners committee."
