I'm trying to find contact information for Dr. Luther Castillo for an interview.
Aside from contacting Democracy Now, I'm not finding much. If anyone has it or can find it, please PM me! I'll be ducking in and out. Thanks, B.

Edited on Tue Sep-29-09 11:40 AM by Downwinder
Dr. Luther Castillo, indigenous physician from the Atlantic Coast of Honduras. He founded the first hospital and health center in that region–the Garifuna Rural Hospital–after studying at the Latin American Medical School in Havana, Cuba. He is also secretary of communications for the National Resistance Front Against the Coup in Honduras. Shortly before the coup he had been named director of International Cooperation in the Honduran Foreign Ministry.

3. Mika is marking the anniversary of the tragedy to his S.O.
He's in Nicaragua doing god's work, unable to deal with all of the pain.
Bless this dear man.

Daniella.

10. Billy, I am not doing god's work.
I do what I feel in my heart, not religion of any sort.
Compassion and empathy are part of the range of human psyche.
I feel as obliged to exercise that part of my humanity as I do exercising my body.
It yields greater rewards in the here and now.

Thank you so much for your humanity and kindness.

7. Well, I think we did come up with the best numbers to try.
Have some messages in now. Thank you very much, everyone.

If he's too swamped to get back to me, that's a good thing. If he does, we can put it together. Let's see how we do. :hi:
