1. Interesting. Never saw Elena Mora before: she's a capable spokesperson.
Interesting to hear the C.A.N.F. is not going to fight some of the plans for closer ties to Cuba. Didn't know about that part.
C.A.N.F. has a bloody history most people don't know about, unfortunately. They'll probably lose any clout they've got left as the U.S. moves toward normalizing relations.

Wouldn't that be a hoot, finally? They're not going to go quietly, probably, but they are steadily losing their reason for being once the U.S. starts allowing more people to go to the island and see for themselves what life is like in Cuba, instead of taking the word of professional propagandists for it!
