Madrid, Jun 11 (Prensa Latina)
Cuban teaching method "Yo, si puedo" (Yes, I can), with the aim of ending illiteracy all around the world, is on internet as of June 11, at the initiative of the Sevilla Foundation for Training, Innovation and Cooperation.
Sevilla city is the first to use the Cuban teaching method in Europe, a completely new method, combining letters with numbers, which has allowed 3.5 million people worldwide to learn to read and write.
The students, besides learning to read and write by means of 65 TV-classes, will also be able to understand and contribute to the transformation of the environment in which they live, fostering their active participation in society.
The Cuban method also provides opportunities to elect the hours of the TV-classes and the place where they would like to receive them.
