El cubanoamericano Armando Valladares, hoy jefe de esta ONG que promueve el terror, fue preso en Cuba por poner bombas en tiendas y cines en 1960, y nunca dejo de colaborar con la CIA desde que se encuentra en su país de adopción.

La Fiscalía boliviana ha identificado a Hugo Achá Melgar, representante de HRF en Bolivia, como financiador de la pandilla terrorista desarticulada el día 16 de abril en Santa Cruz, mientras conspiraba para asesinar a Evo Morales.

La FHR es una organización fachada conocida por sus campañas injerencistas contra Bolivia, Ecuador y Venezuela.

Un boletín de prensa del ministerio de Gobierno de Bolivia confirmó ayer “la alta peligrosidad de los extranjeros y los nacionales miembros de la célula terrorista que encabezó Eduardo Rózsa Flores” y confirmó que Juan Carlos Gueder y el paraguayo Alcides Mendoza, detenidos días después de la operación antiterrorista del 16 de abril identificaron a Hugo Achá y su cómplice Alejandro Melgar como nexos entre los mercenarios y sus financiadores.

Marinkovic, líder separatista descendiente de croatas, esta vinculado con individuos que colaboraron con los nazis y luego se establecieron en Bolivia. Liderea la "conexión ústacha", conformada por nazis croatas, vinculada con la derecha fascistizada de Santa Cruz.

but he has patiently gathered so much of it up in one place. It's completely consistant with what is being published, in small drops, very slowly. The opposition is doing everything in its power to keep this information from getting out. You may have noticed they have the Bolivian media referring to the prosecutor's great witness, "El Viejo," Ignacio Villas not as "the witness," but as "the snitch!"

How unexpected seeing Allard has revealed the connection between Armando Valladares and ALEKSANDER BOYD, that obsessive anti-Chavez screamer from London. As you think about it, it's easy to see people need to take a step back, and start looking for the OVERVIEW to this. Getting too close to the subject to the point you can overfocus on just one person, or two, will lose the real picture altogether.

Once Acha or Valladares or Boyd enters the picture you KNOW there are far, far more people involved in this than the 7 men who were to be the physical weapons themselves.

Placing the two US-paid agencies in the Empire State Building is a strange touch, isn't it? Holy smokes. Well, we've had Vivanco's number for a long time, anyway. HRF, HRW. Odd.

(You can be 100% sure these human rights foundations will NEVER be a threat to people like Uribe with human rights records which can only be described as absolute living hells.)

8. Btw, I looked for a long time yesterday, trying to find grant money

or any kind of disbursement from USAID or from its main human rights grantee to HRF but came up empty.

Isn't it the case that as a non profit in New York, HRF has to file a disclosure to the state tax people? That's the only way I can think of to get at their funding.

they a section on "transparency" and they offer up their financial report for 2006. The financials are a joke and looks like they get their money from "foundations."

-Its offices are in Rockefeller Plaza
-Their "programs" seem to be worldwide
-The officers of the Foundation are not working for free
-The $300,000 listed as donations from foundations in 2006
can't even begin to cover expenses, much less the high end rent and salaries.

I think they are getting funding either directly from the CIA and/or they are involved in some criminal enterprise -- drugs, money laundering. I think that this gang is too hot for USAID to handle.

don't they have to do quarterly financial disclosures? That's how it is in most places.

Another dead giveaway for me is that no one's ever heard of them. Where is their media campaign? They don't behave as an org would that is always fundraising or promoting their projects, for example.
